The Tado X system sends heat only to where you need it in your home. I live in a 3-storey Victorian semi-detached with no wall insulation. My old system had one thermostat for the entire house, so I would always end up with large differences in temperature throughout the house and typically not heating the bits that I wanted. With Tado, I can keep those unoccupied rooms at a reasonable cooler temperature while making the inhabited rooms warm and cosy. I can set separate temperature schedules for individual rooms for each day of the week and manually override whenever I want. The subscription automatically turns the radiator off when it detects an open window and turns all heating off when we leave the house, which I find worth it so I don’t have to do it manually.
I can’t say that I’ve saved money on my heating bills since installing Tado because my previous poor setup had me putting up with a cooler house to avoid heating unoccupied rooms. What Tado has allowed me to do is use the heat where it is needed and it’s made the house an altogether more comfortable place to live. I didn’t fit any TRVs to my bathroom radiators so they heat whenever any room calls for heat, so now they are always a comfortable temperature for taking a shower or that inconvenient night time visit to the W/C 😆
If I was to suggest an improvement it would be to allow multiple schedules to be created so that you could switch them around depending on where you’re at work as normal or on holiday at home when you don’t want to get up as early.
I highly recommend this system to anyone who thinks my previous predicament sounds familiar for their home.
Tengo toda la casa domotizada, era hora de dar el salto también en la calefacción y tenía dudas en que equipo comprar tras leer y leer reseñas, al final me decidí por tado x y no me arrepiento, lo mas moderno con una instalación supersencilla y guiada y con un resultado perfecto. Mi instalación es cableada con hub matter y mi caldera antigua pero todo funciona perfectamente, lo siguiente van a ser los cabezales termostáticos digitales para independizar la temperatura de cada habitación.
Ik als 77 jarige kon het heel gemakkelijk installeren zonder dat ik enige technische kennis heb. Echt een aanrader en dat heb ik ook binnen mij familie/kennissen keer kenbaar gemaakt, dus kopen.
Facilité incroyable d'installation, un design qui intègre parfaitement dans mon intérieur. Très facile d'utilisation avec l'appli. Je recommande l'abonnement iA assist. Grâce à la géo-localisation je peux enfin réduire ma facture malgré ma maison mal isolée. Je règle enfin mes radiateurs à la température souhaitée. Un investissement utile qui sera normalement rentabilisé au bout d'un an.
Tado X sans fil avec têtes thermostatiques
Cela fait maintenant un an que j’ai équipé mon appartement avec un thermostat, deux sondes et cinq vannes Tado X. Avec ce recul, je peux dire que je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix.
J’utilise des thermostats connectés depuis plus de dix ans et j’ai donc acquis une réelle expertise en matière d’usage au quotidien. Avant Tado, j’avais un autre écosystème (marque française commençant par Net…) avec lequel j’ai rencontré de nombreux problèmes, aussi bien matériels que liés à l’application. Je n’étais d’ailleurs pas le seul.
Avec Tado X, l’expérience est toute autre :
• aucune déconnexion des vannes depuis un an
• température précise et bien régulée
• aucun déclenchement intempestif du chauffage
• installation et programmation simples
• fonctionnement silencieux et discret
En bref, le système se fait complètement oublier tout en assurant une gestion très efficace du chauffage dans mon appartement.
Je suis également curieux de voir ce que l’intégration de l’IA (AI Assist) va réellement apporter dans l’application. Pour ma part, je recommande de souscrire à l’abonnement. Pour moins de 30 euros par an, il apporte un vrai confort d’utilisation et optimise encore mieux l’ensemble du système.
Après un an d’utilisation, mon avis est donc très positif. Tado X répond parfaitement à mes attentes et se distingue nettement des solutions que j’ai pu utiliser auparavant.
