Can I install tado° on my own?

You can install it yourself in just a few minutes. The app guides you step by step, and is customised to your radiator model. No risk of water leaks. And even if you’re offline, you can still install tado°.

I'm buying tado° for the first time. Do I need a Bridge X?

If you already have a Thread border router in your home, you won’t need a Bridge X. Otherwise, you can either order a separate one here, or buy it as part of a Starter Kit with your Smart Radiator Thermostat X. Please note that the Internet Bridge from the V3+ series is not compatible with tado° X.

I already have tado° V3+ with an Internet Bridge. Is this compatible with tado° X?

If you already have tado° V3+ devices in your home, simply expand them as before with the V3+ Add-ons. The Bridge X and all tado° X products are not compatible with tado° V3+.

Can I control tado° using my smart assistant?

You can control all tado° devices easily using Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Home.

Can I return tado°?

Yes, you have a 14-day right of return following your purchase.

What happens if I’m offline?

You can still install tado° if you’re offline. What’s more, Smart Schedules will continue to run even when you’re not connected to the internet because they are saved locally on the device.
