  • Smart charging

    Set the charging current in 1 A steps, and switch between single- and three-phase charging in the app. With static load balancing, several chargers share the available power. Connect an energy management system, and the charger also throttles itself automatically whenever the rest of the building is drawing heavily.

  • A reliable connection, even in the garage

    WiFi, LAN and cellular (LTE) are all available. Where WiFi doesn't reach, LTE can take over. Your charge point stays reachable, even two floors underground.

  • Protected against unauthorised charging

    Turn on access control, and charging starts only with an RFID chip or the app. On a company car park or in an apartment building, the connection stays protected and every session can be traced back to a person.

  • Ready for what's next in EV charging

    The hardware is already prepared in accordance with ISO 15118. Two features arrive later by software update: Plug & Charge, where car and charger authorise each other as soon as you plug in, and bidirectional charging (V2X).

Charge with your own solar power

Around midday your PV system makes more electricity than the house can use. Connect a compatible energy management system, and your car takes that PV surplus. It connects via the open API, Modbus TCP or OCPP.

Charge in an apartment building

Getting a separate supply with a calibrated meter to a parking space costs time and money. The go-e Charger PRO CABLE brings its own meter, so your charging can be billed cleanly even when the unit runs off the building's shared supply. In Germany, this applies when the parking space is permanently assigned and used by a single tenant.

Charging a company car at home

You drive a company car and charge it at home in the evening? The meter inside the charger records every kilowatt-hour, so you submit real figures to your employer instead of working with flat rates. If private or third-party vehicles are billed at the same charger, take the ME version.

Fits almost any parking space

Underground, driveway, or a big company car park: IP66 means it can be mounted indoors or out. Your installer can bring the grid connection cable in from above, below or behind, and the 6 m charging cable stays attached to the unit, reaching your car in almost any parking position.

Can I install the charger myself?

No. This is a fixed unit wired into a three-phase supply, which only a qualified electrical contractor is allowed to do. Setting up the app afterwards is your job.

How does installation work?

An electrician mounts the charger wherever you want it, indoors or outdoors. They supply the grid connection cable and bring it in from above, below or behind. Your installer will also handle the grid operator registration with you.

What do V2X ready and Plug & Charge ready mean?

The hardware is prepared for ISO 15118. go-e will release bidirectional charging and automatic authorisation on plug-in later, by software update.

Will it work with my car?

The Type 2 connector is the European standard, so it charges almost every EV and plug-in hybrid common in Europe.

What do I get from the tado° app?

The app tracks market electricity prices as they change hour by hour, and starts charging when they're at their lowest. Your consumption shows up there too. You'll need a dynamic tariff for this.

What's the difference from the go-e Charger CORE?

The CORE's electricity meter is not certified in accordance with the MID directive. The CORE shows your consumption on the display and in the app. That isn't enough for documented billing to third parties. If you have to account for charging costs, as a company car driver or in an apartment building, take the go-e Charger PRO with its MID-compliant meter.
