  • The cable stays put

    The 6 m charging cable is permanently attached to the unit and stays where it belongs. No rummaging in the car boot, no packing away a wet cable.

  • Made for rain and frost

    IP66 means it can be mounted indoors or out, at operating temperatures from -25 °C to +45 °C. Carport, driveway or garage: the charger goes exactly where your car parks.

  • Protected against unauthorised charging

    Turn on access control, and charging starts only with an RFID chip or the app. On a company car park or in an apartment building, your connection stays yours, and every session can be traced back to a person.

  • Ready for what's next in EV charging

    The hardware already meets ISO 15118. Two features arrive later by software update: Plug & Charge, where car and charger authorise each other as soon as you plug in, and bidirectional charging.

It's smart to charge at home

At home you pay your own electricity price, not whatever a charge point operator decides to charge you. Add a dynamic tariff and you're automatically charging during the cheapest hours of the day on its own. The app keeps the overview for you: how much, and at what price.

Charge with your own solar power

Around midday your PV system makes more electricity than the house can use. Connect a compatible energy management system, and your car takes that PV surplus. Enjoy a full battery, coming straight from your own roof.

Two cars, one supply

Several charge points share the power available, without overloading your connection. Static load balancing is already built in. Connect an energy management system, and the charger also throttles itself automatically whenever the rest of the house is drawing heavily.

Fits almost any parking space

Garage, underground, or driveway: IP66 means it can be mounted indoors or out. Your installer can bring the grid connection cable in from above, below or behind, and the 6 m charging cable reaches your car in almost any parking position.

Can I install the charger myself?

No. This is a fixed unit that has to be hard-wired, which only a qualified electrical contractor is allowed to do. Setting up the app afterwards is your job.

How does installation work?

An electrician mounts the charger wherever you want it, indoors or outdoors. They bring the mains cable in from above, below or behind, and will handle the grid operator registration with you.

Do I need my own charging cable?

No. The 6 m Type 2 cable is permanently attached. It charges almost every EV and plug-in hybrid common in Europe.

How fast will my car charge?

That depends on your car and your connection. Car and charger set the power between them, up to a maximum of 11 kW. If you'd rather charge slowly, turn the current down in the app.

Can I mount it outdoors?

Yes. IP66 allows outdoor mounting. It is not affected by rain, dust or temperatures as low as -25 °C.

What's the difference from the go-e Charger PRO?

The CORE's electricity meter is not certified in accordance with the MID directive. The CORE shows your consumption on the display and in the app. That isn't enough for documented billing to third parties. If you have to account for charging costs, as a company car driver or in an apartment building, take the go-e Charger PRO with its MID-compliant meter.
