From V3+ to X

tado° X is not compatible with previous tado° product lines including tado° V3+. Previous tado° Smart Thermostats cannot be controlled together with tado° X in the same home.

To make the switch, you need to delete your Home. You can then use your existing account to create a new Home for your tado° X Thermostats.

No, your subscription will continue to work. You just need to reactivate it with a few clicks. To do this, simply go to the settings in your newly created tado° Home in the app. Go to "Auto-Assist" and click on "Restore purchase".

The Smart Thermostats X work with most boilers and almost all radiators. The prerequisite is that they use Relay or OpenTherm connections (this includes the vast majority). The Heat Pump Optimiser X tado° is compatible with many manufacturers and models of heat pumps.
