How do you activate it?

It's very simple. Once you purchase it, we'll send you an email. This email contains a personal activation link. Simply click it to connect the package to your tado° account. Please ensure you select the correct home if you have more than one. Please note that this offer is only valid for V3+ setups. It does not apply to tado° X and AI Assist.

Is this a monthly subscription?

No. You'll make a single, one-time payment, providing you with Auto-Assist features for a full five years. There are no monthly fees or recurring costs.

What happens after 5 years?

Your access to Auto-Assist simply ends automatically. We will not renew the package and you will not be charged again.

Can I use this with a tado° X?

No. This pass is designed exclusively for V3+ setups. It is not compatible with the new tado° X product line or AI Assist.

Can I cancel my purchase?

You have a 14-day withdrawal period. However, please note that this right expires immediately upon activation. Once you link the pass to your home, we cannot offer a refund.

Do I need to install anything new?

No. This is a purely digital upgrade. You do not need a new bridge or new thermostats. Once activated, your existing devices simply become smarter and more autonomous.

How much time do I have to activate the 5-Year Pass after purchase?

You have up to 3 months from the date of purchase to activate the pass. After that, activation will no longer be possible.

Can I purchase the 5-Year Pass if I already have an active Auto-Assist subscription?

Unfortunately, the pass can only be activated if you do not currently have an active Auto-Assist subscription. If you’re already subscribed, activation will not be possible.
